Assistant Dean Osborne’s Impact on SSRN Grows

This spring, Washington and Lee Assistant Dean for Legal Information and Professor of Legal Research Caroline Osborne was consistently ranked in the top 10% of authors on SSRN.  From February 2018 to May 2018, she appeared in the top 10% of authors by all-time downloads three times.  In this same time period, Assistant Dean Osborne also appeared in the top 10% of authors on SSRN by total new downloads in the preceding 12 months.

Assistant Dean Osborne’s most downloaded paper is The Legal Research Plan and the Research Log: An Examination of the Role of the Research Plan and Research Log in the Research Process  which has been downloaded from SSRN a total of 1,083 times and from Scholarly Commons 2,040 times.

Her other works including The Open Access Advantage for American Law Reviews and Programming to Promote Information Literacy in the Era of Fake News both appeared in SSRN’s Top Ten download lists in eJournals related to Legal Information this spring.
